Senior citizens are one of the largest growing demographics in this country. Baby boomers are all approaching retirement and living out the "golden years" in life. With such a large "boom" in the senior citizen area a number of items need to be considered in the next few years. As the Baby Boomers retire there will be voids in the work force due to the decrease in eligible workers. At the same time there will be an increase in the need for health care for the elderly, including communities, homes, hospitals, and healthcare workers. Many people speculate if Social Security will be able to withstand the tremendous stress it is sure to see as seniors continue to gain in numbers and in years.
